I really enjoyed my weekend at Glastonbury, and was so pleased the weather held out for it. I took some lovely floral wellies and printed sun glasses from Primark along with me, so I really felt looked the part! I also packed in some high waisted denim shorts from Top Girl so I was pleased I got to wear those.

I’m not the biggest football fan but I love the WAG style fashion!  Now the sun has started to shine, I’ll be popping down to Peacocks to snap up a pair of over sized sunglasses and a maxi dress so I can mirror Victoria Beckham’s style…..now just to find my very own David look alike and I’m sorted!

It’s that time of year when you want to start a fresh, so Spring cleaning your home is a great place to start. Take advantage of the great offers on Somerfield’s cleaning products to get you started - go for a fresh citrus scent to fill the house out with Spring.

Once the cleaning is out of the way, it’s the perfect time to clear out the wardrobe ready for the Summer sunshine. So pop down to Poundworld and pick out some bright coloured storage boxes, pack your Winter clothes out of the way and put them up in your loft.

If you didn’t chance to see the fashion show on the 27th March, make sure you watch the podcast on the home page.

We had some fantastic outifts to wear, I love my mac from Primark and the designer jacket from TK Maxx. And what’s even better is everything was so cheap!

By the end of the Easter weekend, there will no doubt be mountains of chocolate egg packaging - instead of throwing away the boxes, try and put them to good use.

If you want to amuse the kids during the school holidays then get them busy making things out of the boxes – they could make stationary holders, cars or houses for their dolls and toys. Let their imagination run wild!

New Years Resolution

I have made a couple of New Years Resolutions for 2010.  But the change that is at the top of my list is to spend more time with my family and friends.

With our hectic lifestyles it is often hard to keep track of everyone. However, it doesn’t need to be difficult.

Why not set up a weekly catch up with close group of friends at one of the restaurants or cafes at Haymarket? Pickwicks offers a really inviting atmosphere, perfect to grab a cappucino with the girls and get all their news.

It doesn’t need to cost a lot, getting a cup of tea and a slice of cake from Café Nero or sharing a Subway means you see your friends or family and do not spend money you don’t have.
